Base Sub-System

NextDimension Pro HD Series: Integrated high-res 1920x1200 LCD display, removable protective LCD cover for portage. FleXtreme architecture: Open standards, high performance, modular computing architecture, common I-O interface. HDD: Bay for quick-time removable Dual 2.5" HDDs (quick-time hot swap support under Windows). ODD: DVD/RW. Up to 2 full length PCI or PCI Express expansion slots. Durable Aluminum alloy chassis sub-structure with enhanced passive cooling, segmented processing, I-O, and storage. Includes soft bag.

The 53XX socket supports the 5316, 5335, and 5420 processors.

Internal Quick-Time Removable Disk Drive
7200 RPM: 250Gs operating/800Gs non-operating shock.
For free fall detection drives, all state detected via a 0 G sensor mounted on the drives. In falls of 8 inches (nominal) or more the actuator will be unloaded.

All choices include Serial ATA (SATA) hard disk drive with carrier kit.
