Base Sub-System

NextDimension Evo HD (Evolution) Series: Integrated high-res 1920x1200 LCD display, removable protective LCD cover for portage. Open standards I-O expansion: Factory configurable PCI-X I-O slot option and up to 3 User accessible I-O slots. FleXtreme architecture: Open standards, high-performance, modular computing architecture, common I-O interface. HDD: Bay for quick-time removable dual 2.5" HDDs (quick-time hot swap support under Windows). ODD: DVD/RW. Durable Aluminum alloy chassis sub-structure with enhanced passive cooling, segmented processing, I-O, and storage. Includes soft bag.

DDR/PC3200 memory. Network: 3 Gig-Ethernet RJ-45 ports. 2 RS-232 ports (with optional external RS-422/485 adaptor). 4 USB 2.0 (type A). Serial: 1 D-sub 9-pin. 2 external SATA ports. On-board ATI Radeon Mobility 2D Graphics/64MBVRAM. CRT SVGA port. Optional FireWire 400, 800 or SoundBlaster card. FW (Firmware) RAID 0, 1, 0+1 support under Windows without plug-in RAID card.

The 53XX socket supports the 5316, 5335, and 5420 processors.

Internal Quick-Time Removable Disk Drive

7200.2 and 7200.3RPM: 250Gs operating/800Gs non-operating shock.
For free fall detection drives, all state detected via a 0 G sensor mounted on the drives. In falls of 8 inches (nominal) or more the actuator will be unloaded.

All choices include Serial ATA (SATA) hard disk drive with carrier kit.
