The NextDimension Director provides a robust and transportable solution for fast offloading, reviewing, and archiving of video files. The system becomes a seamless part of your tapeless video workflow.
This turnkey portable solution features fast data transfer and verification from the video source, as well as redundant, removable storage and a full HD display.
NextDimension Director PX2
The first member of the NextDimension Director family, the NextDimension Director PX2, is designed specifically for users of Panasonic's P2 HD tapeless digital video camcorders and solid-state recording media. This system has an integrated Panasonic P2 card reader for high-speed media offload and storage in the field.
The Director PX2 is the market's first portable P2 media management system to feature:
- Five (5) P2 card slots connected over a high-speed internal PCIe interface
- Two (2) sets of two removable and protected SATA drives for up to 2TB (terabytes) of media storage
- High-resolution (1920x1200) wide-screen HD display integrated into the chassis for robust graphics with full-raster 1080 clip playback
- Easy-to-use ShotPut™ Pro media offload software from Imagine Products
- Briefcase-like portable chassis weighing less than 25 lbs.
- Optional integrated touch-screen for a streamlined user experience
In addition to data offload, the NextDimension Director PX2 is powerful enough for high-resolution video previews and "rough-cut" edits on-set. The system can also be used as a central media server for connecting external editing stations, such as laptops running Apple’s Final Cut Pro, to edit directly from the system's internal storage.
